Edison High is having its 7th annual community/school bbg this Thursday, Aug. 22. "Join us at our 7th annual open house and community/school BBQ. You will be one of the first to see the changes that are taking place on Edison’s campus. The first phase of the Mississippi Watershed project has started and our parking lot is in the process of being renovated. This year, the community BBQ will be taking place in the streets next to Edison High School. The inside of Edison is also getting a new look. We will also be unveiling a Thomas Edison High School signature mural. Once again there will be a fire truck and food prepared and provided by local restaurants and community members. Edison’s Green Council is bringing back the bike blender…get ready to pedal and create yummy smoothies. New this year will be the Minneapolis Public School’s food truck and a photo booth. This is a FREE family fun event. Of course there will be plenty of delicious food provided by local restaurants and community members. We look forward to seeing you!"
